Half Brutal briefing is 5PM - Full and Double (plus crew) is 6PM

Registration/briefing is held in Electric Mountian (LL55 4UR)
Does my support crew have to register?
No, but they have to attend the race briefing
Do I rack my bike on Friday?
Your choice, there will be overnight security if you decide to leave
your precious baby in race HQ on Friday, but if you can't be parted,
then you can rack on Saturday morning
What time is transition open on race
day?
From 5AM
What time/day does the race start?
All races start at 7am Saturday 21st September 2013
Will there be food / drinks on site?
Yes, there is a catering van open from 6am till late on both days
Can I wear gloves for the swim?
Yes, as long as they are not webbed!! You can also wear booties.
Do we get out on every lap of the swim?
Yes, and pass over the timing mat. There will be hot drinks available
lakeside, if needed.
What will be available at the aid stations?
Clif nutrition (bars, shots and electrolyte drink) bananas, biscuits,
jellybabies, water, coke and CAKE!
Where are the aid stations?
One on the bike (mile 14) One on the run (2.5 mile aprox) Also, nutrition
available at HQ

What happens before I start the mountain
section?
Before you and your crew head off to Snowdon, you will be required
to check in with a medic to ensure that you are fit and well enough
to climb up and back down a mountain. This check is essential but
will not take more than a minute
Is there carparking available?
There is no parking on the event field but lots of carparking close
to HQ and in the surrounding village

Are there showers in transition?
No, only portaloos
What are the rules?
No drafting. You must wear a cycle helmet. No MP3 players or similar.
No littering and you must mount and dismount at the designated points.
The race cut offs are as follows:
12 hours from swim start for the Half Brutal
21 hours from swim start for the Full Brutal
42 hours from swim start for the Double Brutal

The reason why ALL athletes and support
crew have to have full waterproofs is if everyone involved has them,
we can get away with more 'interesting' weather that Snowdon may throw
at us. Prepare for the worst and hope for the best!

Cancelation policy:
Before 1st March 2013: 75% of entry fee.
Before 1st July 2013: 50% of entry fee.
On or after 1st July 2013: No Refund
Deferments at the race directors discretion
