
Claire - Race Director
Claire loves all types of adventure and enjoys pushing her limits. She also has a passion for helping other people realise their true potential and really believes that you can do anything you put your mind to. Claire is by no means a natural athlete, but has never let that stop her entering (and even completing!) some tough events.
Claire has completed over 25 marathons, the Isle of Man ultra mountain marathon, many half, full iron and two double iron triathlons and also, the Lanzarote ultra solo challenge, which took over 44 hours! She swam to the Isle of Wight and recently ran 80 miles in the Adidas 24 hr Thunder Run. Claire also runs womens training camps for the 24 hour 3 peaks challenge.
Brian - Logistics/Medic/Safety/Race Director
Brian has been involved in the world of adventure sports for many years and has led over 16 successful Kilimanjaro expeditions. He is a well known and respected expedition leader, having led expeditions all over the world. He is a registered Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician (WEMT) having worked as head medic on challenges such as the Caledonian Challenge, the World Adventure Racing Championships and the World Alternative Games. His passion is seeing people push their limits. He works for Brutal Events as a consultant safety officer, medic and logistics planner.
Tom - Route Planning /Training Camps/Logistics
Tom is a sponsored adventure racer, taking part in multi day challenges across the UK. He is a qualified Mountain Leader and has led many multi day expeditions such as the 3 Peak Challenge, Welsh 3000'ers, London to Paris cycle, London to Amsterdam cycle etc. Tom successfully completed the Adidas Terrex Sting Multi Day adventure Race in Scotland last year. Tom works for Brutal Events in planning routes, overviewing logistics and on the training camps.
Min - Administration/Triathlon Support
Min is a seasoned triathlete with three long distance triathlons under her belt, in addition to several shorter ones. With a background in running, she has taken part in many ultra runs and has been involved in the world of endurance sport for over 7 years. She is also a qualified REC First Aider. Min works for Brutal Events as our triathlete specialist.
